Up to Two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 Processors
At the heart of the Orbital X5000 Pro resides an unbelievably powerful CPU configuration. You have the freedom to configure your X5000 Pro with up to Two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 series Central Processing Units with up to 36 Core and 72 Threads enabling extensive backtesting, simulations (options pricing, portfolio optimization, Monte-Carlo Sims, risk modeling, etc.), trading system development, and reliable processing of large datasets with 100% accuracy via 2133MHz DDR4 ECC RAM. Our recommended single CPU configuration is the Intel Xeon E5-1650 v3 processor for financial professionals who plan on using their trading workstation to execute trades. For financial analysis professionals who will mainly use their trading workstation as a backtesting/simulation system, we recommend the Dual Intel Xeon E5-2630 v4 CPU configuration with 64GB+ DDR4 ECC RAM. Click here to configure it now.
Up to 24 Monitors Supported
You have complete control over the component selection process. We provide a broad variety of multi-monitor video card options that fit within every budget. The basic specifications to consider for your trading computer’s video card (also known as GPU) are the number of monitors supported (up to 24 on the Trader X3000 Pro and 12 on the X5000 Pro), the types of output ports they have (DVI, VGA, Display Port, etc.), and if they have active or passive (silent) cooling solutions. Fortunately, trading doesn’t require the extremely powerful and expensive GPUs often found on high-end gaming or CAD computers, as trading work is generally two-dimensional. The majority of intensive processing has already been done by your CPU/RAM system, meaning the GPU simply has to output those results. However, if you’re planning on streaming around 30 or more charts, it would be advisable to take a GPU option marked as ‘high-performance’ on the configure page for the increased VRAM capacity. Contact us for help deciding which GPU is right for your needs.

Important Information:
We are now offering two systems in the ultra-high performance category. The Trader X3000 Pro with the latest Intel Core i7/i9 Extreme processors, which have up to 10 cores and 20 threads and run at a much higher frequency (4.0GHz+) and the Trader X5000 Pro, which has support for up to 36 cores and 72 threads but runs at a lower operating frequency. If you are planning on using your system to place discretionary trades, the Trader X3000 Pro with a high operating frequency is the best choice. If you plan to use your system primarily for backtesting/simulations, then the Trader X5000 Pro with up to 28 CPU cores is the best choice.
